Should we create content for Valentine’s? PROBABLY YES.
If you have a product that could work as a gift in Valentine’s day. Than it’s easy peazy for you. Just make some special offer or highlight it’s value for these celebrations. But what about other businesses?
We believe that Valentine’s day is about love. And we do love things – it is that simple! Let’s look at few things that you can use for content or connection with your client on Valentine’s day?
1. Romantic offer.
Think of how your product or service can make Valentine’s day a special day in any of it’s processes – weather it could be a gift, something that helps you to organize romantic date, maybe it’s a part of the date it self? For example, one of our clients is video on demand streaming platform, so for Valentine’s day we have prepared a bunch of romantic movie content that could be a part of the movie date night.
2. Something for singles.
Don’t forget that there are a lot of people without couples, but they also might want to have some great night. Besides something romantic your business can offer just chill and relax time for singles. Example: cleaning service can offer to clean apartment so that client can have a time for anything else.
3. B2B.
Just share some love to your clients! Thank them and maybe give some great content just to make them a bit more happy. It could be even a love letter to your client saying Thank You! Because remember you must love your clients because they bring you money.
4. Giveaway.
A lot of people know and expect to have some special content on Valentine’s. So just give it to them! Remember, this works just like Christmas giveaways. People want gifts all the time and if they cannot have them from their lovers, why not to receive it from your brand?
5. Targeting.
Great thing to remember is that you can also target different messages for different audiences on social media. Facebook / Instagram targeting offers you targeting based on demographics and even relationship/ family status. Use this to target couples or singles.
What’s in it for? In most cases well known celebrations creates searches on social media and therefore your content visible as well. Time related content may not have a long term, yet you must keep in mind that this content could air a bit earlier as people are preparing. Use hashtags and keywords because, as statistics show, holiday’s strategy for social media can increase sales.
